In November 2012 (and in time for National Adoption Week), we launched a fundraising and awareness campaign with the national adoption charity, After Adoption. We started with a period of research, consultation and testing to better understand their place in the charity market, and their target audience. From this we developed the 'Make Adoptions Last' campaign. Our work included a media relations and social media campaign (securing around £70,000 of EAV), 30 'transmitter' organisations sending out campaign materials across their networks reaching around 40,000 people), a campaign film and website and e-campaign to existing supporters. After Adoption are now exploring ways to extend the campaign.
