What do you enjoy most?

Working with clients. I like people! I genuinely think we are one of the most, if not the most, collaborative agencies out there, not just with our clients but also their wider stakeholders. I love hearing different perspectives on what an organisation is all about - and playing that back to them through words and visuals created by our amazing team.

And - honestly - what are some of the challenges?

Sometimes trusting the process. Clients give us their budgets and they have a lot riding on the outcome, which can cause nervousness at the outset of a project - that’s only natural. I try to reassure clients that any budget is a big budget for them, regardless of the monetary value. We really respect that and if they trust the process we’ll all really enjoy it and get the right result.

Challenges, questions and queries from clients help make the final outcome better. Always be willing to listen and take time to digest what you’ve heard.

And while we have you in a sharing mood... would you be happy to spill the beans on a single most favourite or magical moment?

My favourite magical moment is when a client gets teary when they see their new brand coming together. I’m pleased to say that’s happened to me a few times over the years. It should always feel like we’ve listened and represented who they are, and when they have that emotional release of 'you’ve got us' - that’s worth getting out of bed for!
