Action Oak were looking for support to communicate the findings of their 'State of the UK’s Oak’ report in a compelling and accessible way.

We've been working with Action Oak for many years since an initial Drupal website development in 2019 and then a more recent Squarespace website redevelopment and brand refresh in 2024. Action Oak supports the vital research and monitoring needed to understand better the threats facing the UK’s native oak trees.

Our work included the design of a 32 page State of the UK's Oaks summary report, included a lead cover design that was used as a promotional visual over the related webpages and social graphics. Creative Concern developed a webpage to provide an online home for the report: https://www.actionoak.org/state-of-the-uks-oaks with a related highlight section on the homepage, linking to the summary report download and more details about the report. We also created a collection of social graphics including quotes from the report, using variations of the report cover in multiple brand colours.
