Film briefing shouldn't be a chore. A great brief can make a massive difference to the film that you end up making, and we're here to make the briefing stage more fun, productive and ultimately lead to the very best film you can make.

We've put together a film brief template; a 19-slide powerpoint presentation that you can easily edit and complete, either on your own, or as part of a session with colleagues.

It makes sure that you capture all the important bits and bobs, but it also challenges you to think a bit more creatively; the idea is that we get you really thinking about the film you want to make, and your film maker gets as much as possible to start their creative juices flowing.
