Creative Concern has been supporting charities, not for profit organisations and many others to develop creative and compelling communications for nearly two decades. In that time we’re proud to say that we’ve developed expertise in a number of sectors, and we bring that knowledge to the table with every new job we tackle.

Below is a snapshot of some of the sectors that we’ve got extensive experience of working in. But there’s many more besides and our experience in issues-based, behaviour change communications applies to many different worlds.

We are also committed to sharing our knowledge and helping as many people working in these sectors as possible to deliver the very best campaigns, brands, content and marketing. Because we really do believe that great communications can change the world.

Arts and culture

We’ve helped all kinds of arts and culture organisations to create and strengthen their brands, diversify their audience and promote specific events and performances. We also love working with existing and potential audiences to find out their motivations and interests and make them part of the process through surveys, workshops and discursive events.


From small, locally-focused charities providing much-needed services, to some of the biggest household charity brands we have helped to create and strengthen charity brands, devise effective campaigns, engage colleagues and reach out to donors and supporters. 

Health and social care

We’re really proud to support organisations within the health and social care sector, from brand and campaign development for some of the country’s largest NHS Trusts, to long term work with national and local NHS and health and care charities, care homes, mental health organisations and charities campaigning on health equality.

Natural environment and renewable energy

Some of our longest standing clients are doing amazing things to protect, preserve and promote our valuable natural environments. From waterways to forests, urban greening projects to ocean ecosystems, we’ve run some incredible campaigns, developed beautiful brands and created films, animations, websites and print to do our bit to support them.


We’ve seen sustainability move from the margins to the mainstream and we’ve helped Universities, charities, campaigning organisations and the corporate sector communicate their ambitions and their impact.  We’ve also helped stimulate positive behavioural change and helped to form new habits and ways of living, working and travelling.

Sustainable transport

From campaigns that get thousands more people walking and cycling, to promoting public transport to helping cities map out what their active travel futures might look like, we’ve got nearly two decades of sustainable transport and travel experience under our belts.
