Planting a tree for every man, woman and child in Greater Manchester

The case for more trees in and around our towns and cities is strong and compelling. City of Trees' key goal is to bring 2,000 hectares of unmanaged woodland back into use for the community and to plant 3 million trees – one for every man, woman and child across Greater Manchester – within a generation.

Creative Concern is part of the partnership that is making this ambition a reality. Working alongside the Community Forest Trust and The Oglesby Charitable Trust, our experience in the forestry sector and networks across Greater Manchester proved invaluable when launching the campaign. Our involvement continues with strategy, PR, design, website development and stakeholder engagement to promote the vision and encourage investment with a whole range of public and private sector audiences.

We supported City of Trees to build a partnership of over 65 corporate and public sector partners

Audience reach of over 1 million with initial press launch activity

Over 50 professionals engaged through a series of launch ‘briefing breakfasts’

“It’s been great working with the team at Creative Concern. It feels like a partnership, not just a contractor relationship, and we know we can rely on them to deliver great results, advising us at each step whilst working with us closely to achieve our goals”
