A new name, visual identity and full-service communications support to promote a housing retrofit learning programme.
Work that matters
Retrofit information, support & expertise
In 2024 we were commissioned as communications and design partners for Retrofit, Information, Support & Expertise (RISE), formally known as the Social Housing Retrofit Accelerator (SHRA) and Home Upgrade Hub (HUB). Our first task was to support on the merger of these two services into one brand. We created their new name – RISE – key messages and visual identity. This came to life in a toolkit of assets, Canva templates and signage for conferences.
RISE offers training, guidance and support to help social housing providers, Local Authorities and their supply chains plan and deliver successful domestic retrofit programmes. It's funded by the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero and delivered by Turner & Townsend.
We created a series of icons as signifiers for the different types of learning opportunities delievered by RISE and the topics they cover.
You may spot the RISE brand at housing conferences across the country. We designed the shell scheme for Housing 24 in Manchester and Homes UK in London.
Now we support on the day-to-day communications strategy, planning, and management of the RISE channels - LinkedIn, Eventbrite, Mailchimp and the website - as well as creating and sharing a range of content. We work closely DESNZ and Turner & Townsend to engage the sector with funding updates, and promote the different learning opportunities and support that RISE offers.
We produce weekly Podcasts for RISE, which you can listen to on Spotify, Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. We also regularly produce films to promote the service and engage the housing sector on LinkedIn.
