Your Home Better is an independent retrofit delivery service. They support homeowners to make their home better by improving comfort and reducing energy bills and carbon emissions associated with home energy use and heating.

YHB can deliver a ‘whole house’ plan to assess homes and provide homeowners with a bespoke plan – giving you information about how your home’s energy performance can be upgraded, what needs to be done, in what order, and how it could be paid for. We can then help you find a contractor to deliver the works and a retrofit co-ordinator to make sure the work is done properly

Your Home Better is backed by the Greater Manchester Combined Authority. It is delivered by a consortium of partners led by the national experts, Retrofit Works and including RED Co-op, Parity Projects, Lendology, B4Box, SHAP, Q-Bot, Flexitricity, Creative Concern and the University of Salford.

Through a series of collaborative workshops and discovery sessions we developed and delivered the identity for YHB. We then delivered the roll out of the brand across a major Metrolink campaign with a focus on raising the profile of YHB and directing people to their website, which we designed and developed to be purposefully direct and accessible.


As part of the identity we also provided a robust set of brand guidelines which included a range of bespoke messaging, guidance on the use of brand assets and a thorough assessment on the use of colour and how the brand palette should be applied to pass certain accessibility regulations.
